Despite a drop in first quarter real estate sales in Lethbridge, property transactions are still going strong according to the Lethbridge & District Association of Realtors

It's proving to be a busy spring for local realtors.  Currently there are 1,594 active listings in the Lethbridge region.  Cathy Maxwell with the Lethbridge and District Association of Realtors says there is currently 6.2 months worth of inventory in the region, down from 10 months back in January.  She adds year to date sales for the first quarter are down 8.4% from 2015, but notes last year's sales reached a eight year high. - Tom Roulston
